Great

The beginning, sounds most chaotic... in a good way! Great string in the background! I wish I could have all that samples... This really sounds like a masterpiece!
What I feel can be improved is the vocals starting at 18sec... why are they so in beat with the percs? All so, the beats of the percs may be something to be played with, repetition is heroic, but not interesting enough...
Anyways this is truly great loop for the game!

MaestroRage responds:

The samples for the cello strings were actually a blend of different sample patches, and the results were quite interesting and raw. I liked their raw feel so I kept it as is.

I did not consider putting the vocals out of beat with the percussion... but I think I can see what you mean.

Thanks for your honest feedback, means a lot! Thanks again for the review! Glad you liked it!

WOOOOAW!

"OMG it's teh sirens!"
*ME SAILOR FEEL LIKE JUMPING INTO TEH WATER XD!*
*AND... ME JUMPED!*
XD Joking, but that was really what I thought when I heard your voice!
Great arrangement in the Salon Quintet!

And to Chuck, watch out for sirens! You're in great danger! ;D

MaestroRage responds:

*Giggle* Heeheehee, funny you would mention sirens. We wanted to make a song about one quite some time ago. We never got the chance to do it though. ^ ^ Heehee, thank you so much though! And yes. >=3 Little Ragey doesn't know just how much danger he's in. Eeheeheehee... XD Anyway, thanks for listening!

I love this, a lot!

The emotion flows with very appropriate progressions, expressive guitar and subtle string, just as what I would love at the end of a movie!
This piece greatly excites me! Great job mate!

dx9s responds:

Yes -- it was not directly inspired by anything but once I finished it... it does remind me of a cross between some end movie music and something else... Hades0013 (below) also mentioned some emotional game music which also fits.

Thanks for the review!

Good for little kids!

You played live for them? It must be hilarious!
It also gave me a BIG LAWL really hahahah

MusicalRocky responds:

hahah yeah it was pretty hilarious.
haha glad i could make you laugh :P
thanks!

Great!

This is quite dramatic! I can see it's greatly orchestrated!
How can such great orchestration not go with a good tweak on the sound effects so that it can be perfect?
I can feel the curiosity and the joy and excitement when the truth (or something else valuable?) revealed step by step! Very motivated piece! -Yue

MusicalRocky responds:

hey!
it is dramatic! thanks, i did focus a lot on orchestration in this piece. it's also a HUGE orchestra lol.
i know the mixing's bad :[
glad you could feel those emotions :D the discovery is whatever the listener feels has been discovered.
Thanks for reviewing :]

Impressive. Epic.

I love your presentation of Japanese vibes! Very well made!
The ending (1:03+) is very dramatic and epic! All I can say is "wow"!
Well I can still feel some western vibes in it, but its mixed in very well!
I wish there is a longer version ;)

MaestroRage responds:

I didn't know how long to make the song as it was initially to let him know if he'd be interested in my help, so this is about the average length of a demo track. I do intend to extend this, but with so much work coming up ahead, I fear that this will be as it is for a long while yet.

Thank you for the review Yue, I am glad you liked it ;D!

Good!

I like the second half, starting from 1:00. The emotion behind is really pure. But the percussion might be too loud and monotonic?

popraz responds:

Yeah, I guess the percussions are a bit monotonic. I also have a simple instrumental for the second half, maybe i'll submit that one too.

Totally Brilliant!

I love the hopeful feeling inside! A lot! You really make my day!
Great efforts, plz make more!

Kr1z responds:

more comes today!

Neat and relaxing!

This is very neat and relaxing!
The beginning is really sweet and happy with the pizzicato, and after 0:40 it sounds more dramatic and romantic!
I especially like the emotion around 1:40! It's very enjoyable!

MaestroRage responds:

-^_^- Thank you very much. I loved the idea of pizzis in a waltz establishment. I just couldn't help myself. Anyway, thank you for listening!

Yay! But, um...

The beginning part is actually more EPIC than the previous version!
You added slow but very strong string(i guess) notes <E] <E] <C] <B] which creates a very strong Rage feeling! :D
------------
But, um, after 1min, i cannot feel the mood. >:/ Maybe it should be more quiet and depressed and "deadly"? and later more cruel and tragic? I think it loses the dramatic vibes which, kind of brings the mood down.
------------
Well, i always respect you and admire your work, but be honest this can still improve a lot... x_X But still, good job! :D

MaestroRage responds:

this song can indeed be improved. I just wish I could. My computer can barely run this thing, and I had to render it over 20 times just to get a good render. I'm afraid this will stay the way it is until I can improve my computer, or find a more efficient way of putting it together.

Some excellent suggestions, I will write them down and see what I can do with them.

Thank you for your honest and well thought out review Yue, always appreciated! I'm glad you liked it!
